Feed A Fever, Starve A Cold?
It's a short post this week because I feel like death warmed over. I have managed to stay well all winter, despite repeated colds in our house with the man and at the petri dish that is the baby's day care. I go home to Texas for business and it's as if my body said, "OK, you're home. The parents will take care of you, so I'm going to get sick." And I've been sick ever since.I spent today sleeping and swigging cough medicine. But I did crawl from my sick bed to go to Weight Watchers to check the pounds. Despite being home, and being sick, I managed to drop a record 5.6 pounds (thanks for the catfish, mother), for a grand total of 19.4 lbs. That puts me at 229.2 pounds, and I'm delighted to be out of the 230s. Now I'm going back to bed!
